Antone Melton-Meaux, Founder & CEO of Work Resolve Mediation, is a nationally recognized mediator and dispute resolution expert dedicated to helping others navigate the most challenging conflicts.
Antone’s path to mediation is akin to a calling. In addition to his diverse legal experience, which includes roles as a Big Law partner, in-house counsel, human resources executive, and law professor, Antone utilizes his Masters of Theology to bridge divides between people and communities.
Antone brings this unique skillset and knowledge to resolving employment and commercial disputes in federal and state courts through mediation and facilitating restorative sessions for internal workplace issues before a dispute arises. Antone is known for his even and compassionate temperament, tactful and creative problem-solving abilities, and gift for seeing and managing various perspectives and personalities.
Through his 25+ year career, Antone has cultivated positive and long-standing working relationships with both plaintiff and defense attorneys who value his ability to foster trust and bring parties together. He has provided dispute resolution services for private, non-profit, and governmental entities nationwide, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC), and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights (MDHR).
Based in the Twin Cities, Antone is active in the local legal community, serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he teaches courses related to alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He is also an active member of the Minnesota Bar Association, where he formerly chaired the ADR Section and frequently presents CLE on various ADR-related topics.
Widely respected by his peers for his work in mediation, Antone is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an employment panel mediator with the American Arbitration Association, and a Minnesota Rule 114 qualified neutral.
